"Books are objects, not surfaces……(they)provide physical experience far beyond mere transfer of facts."
—Erik Spiekermann

This zine was primarily created as part of a project exploring the essence and necessity of physical book reading experience. It consists of excerpts from three essays/speeches respectively by Borges and Umberto Eco on reading and books. An appendix is inserted as reference.

The original version was a mix of laser and screen printing. The new version was riso printed.
